proximity to Hampton Court gardens and castle, the staff were pleasant and helpful. Close proximity to the tube to get into London city. Also public transport i.e buses into London and to Heathrow airport at reasonable prices.
The images of the Hotel/ rooms on the website looked much grander and larger than they actually were. Accommodation was very basic.

Room was clean, staff members were always available, bed was comfortable.
Unfortunately, the hotel is an old building and the decor is beginning to look tired

The location was fantastic, right next to Hampton Court, the staff friendly and helpful and parking was good. The room was small and basic but clean and fine for an overnight stay. Good value for money.

The staff were excellent, we arrived v. early but could still have the room. The loaction was good for us.
Ensuite was in poor condition. The room was up three flights of steep stairs. The stairs/ corridors are in need of decoration.

Very nice, however personally the room was far too warm and the decor a little dark.

Do not lose heart at the shabby external features of this hotel - due for refurbishment in Oct 2011. The bedding, towels and cleanliness are very good, as is the friendly nature of the hard working staff. We enjoyed a very good breakfast, cooked to order. Its position opposite Hampton Court and at the end of Bushey Park is perfect and offers good value for money.

Location was good - next to entrance to Hampton Court Garden and Bushy Park. Staff polite and helpful. Always semed to be someone on the reception desk. Breakfast was good. Main reception area and breakfast room looked clean and newly decorated. Off road parking. Willing to negotiate early check-in time. Bed linen and bathroom clean.
The outside of both buildings looked to be in dis-repair and very shabby. We stayed in the Mews across the road from the main building, our room was adjacent to the road on the ground floor, so very noisy. The room itself was in need of decoration and updating - peeling wallpaper, dirty paintwork, very old TV and kettle with dodgy connection. Our door was poorly fitting and had a cracked pane of glass. Would have been easy for someone to force their way in. The security chain was broken.Had to keep curtains closed to avoid other guests peering in. Mattress was old and lumpy. Dividing wall between rooms not sound proof - could hear next door talking till 2am!

proximity to hampton court palace was good which is why we stayed there.Room was adequate for our needs, which was, somwhere to sleep. However room 8(where we stayed) has a great view of Bushy Park and when its quite in the evening you can often see stags grazing.Cooked breakfast was good.
This hotel is in need of some T L C.Looks very shabby from the outside, and the interior needs updating(asap). Our room was small, and alougth the bathroom had all that was needed,it too needs some T L C.

The park around the hotel is beautiful, the breakfast was nice.
The rooms are rundown, and the free internet was mainly out of order

Location for Hampton Court flower show was perfect with free on-site parking. Staff were very pleasant.
Didn't expect much due to some of the reviews. Room decor/furnishing in desparate need of refurb and tidying up outside Mews. Room on ground floor in Mews across the road - only security very flimsy yale latch, not even door closing mechanism. Laundry baskets stored directly outside our room and moved at 2.30 am and 4.00 am. 1 bed frame half collapsed and springs could be felt through mattress. Dining room - breakfast inedible due to uncooked eggs, sticky table and 4 attempts to find a clean cup. Didn't bother with breakfast second day. Cracked glass in bathroom and ancient hairdryer which must have been a fire hazzard.

Parking facilities.
Run down exterior, shoddy interior except for breakfast area. No help offered not even help in opening main door despite fact I was on my own and struggling with a suitcase, they just watch me.

Good situation for Hampton Court
Outside of building very much in need of repair. The windows in our bedroom were in especially poor condition.
